DULUTH, Ga. -- Freshman Cole Ekert birdied his final hole to shoot a 1-under par 71 in the final round of the Georgia State Invitational Tuesday at Berkeley Hills Country Club. Ekert's 71 was two shots better than any other Spider Tuesday as Richmond combined for a team score of 294 (+6) to finish the 15-team event tied for 11th at 874 (+10).
