TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | The Florida A&M volleyball team handily defeated Alcorn State Sunday (Oct. 10) evening to crown its home-opening doubleheader, 2-0. A pair of sweeps accented the undefeated day - 25-9, 25-15, 25-22 versus Prairie View A&M and 25-16, 25-17, and 25-11 against the Lady Braves - as the Rattlers moved to 12-5 overall, 4-1 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The decision also marked Gokhan Yilmaz's 50th career win as a head coach. He took over coaching duties at FAMU in August of 2018 and has since compiled 32 wins with the Orange and Green.
