OK, so Texas State has a new coach and defense. Cal Poly has a new QB and every reason to believe they will be back in the playoffs again this season. Home field has to help the Bobcats. Playing against a defense they know well should help the Mustangs. What do you think?

Watch out for Texas State's QB. He has the makings of something special. He is a 25 or 26-year-old sophomore who played pro baseball for a while before coming back to school. He's about 6-6 and he can throw any pass you would want him to throw. I think he has the potential to have a 3,000-yard year, depending on how good his receivers turn out to be.
