AGS Pick 5 Survival League - Week 6, Fall 2021

Everyone who was alive previously is still alive. Three of the active 17 players did take an elimination week due to missing picks; however, that is why we are playing double-elimination. And, of course these players do have 5 additional teams to pick from (with the cost of this elimination week).

Slowly, but surely, we are having less players with perfect weeks...three players this week managed that feat. Chalupa Batman is our leader in the clubhouse, being perfect all five weeks this season, followed closely by JacksFan40 and HensRock with the same number of correct picks this season.

This a quick reminder that if you have picked a team to "keep" one week (and had a perfect week that week), you may use this team again; however, you cannot designate that team as a "keep" for another week. In other words, you only get to keep a team once. For anyone that did this, I have edited the sheet to remove the additional attempt to keep (just so you are aware of why your "keep" cell is blank).

Also, remember that if you make picks but decide to change any of them before the deadline, you can do so by clicking on the “Edit response” in the email you receive from Google Forms.

Thanks for checking your sheet. You probably noticed that Princeton Tigers was not previously highlighted, and this is what caused it to appear that Yale Bulldogs was not highlighted in blue. This is because I misspelled Princeton (transposed two letters) in another sheet where I enter the winners of all the games, so it did not register in the score sheet. You are all good now, and I appreciate players bringing this to my attention when something like this happens.

No worries. The form autofills the dropdown from a list I have, and I guess it is possible that there was a glitch when you tried it. I would have been mortified to have left those teams off the list. ;)

I was thinking just run it because fresh rain will cause drops

sure enough they tried pass play and boing.... receiver never had a chance and wet ball bounced right off his slippery hands

I followed on the ESPN GameTracker - so I saw the last minute TD and knew they had to go for 2 - but I didn't know about the weather change.
Of course, it should never have come down to the wire like that. I don't know the Vegas line, but I thought AP should have been a 17-20 point favorite.

Damn, sucks dude. You aren’t the first to forget to make a pick, I’m thinking next year I’ll give players the option to have a “default” team to pick if someone forgets or gets too busy with their lives.
