JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – On Saturday afternoon, the Wofford College football team was defeated 27-21 by East Tennessee State University at Greene Stadium. The Bucs jumped scored the first ten points before the Terriers answered with a pair of touchdowns. ETSU had a 17-14 lead at the half. Wofford scored first in the third quarter for a 21-17 advantage, but the Bucs scored the next ten points. A missed field goal gave the Terriers the ball with ninety seconds remaining, but they could only advance to midfield before time expired.
