Games:

Dartmouth at Penn (Friday)
Yale at Lehigh
Columbia at Princeton - toss-up
Harvard at Holy Cross - difficult to swallow for me, especially HC is riding some more momentum in their win against Monmouth... xsighx
Cornell at Bucknell
Brown at Bryant

I think its a safe guess that bonarae was being sarcastic. :)

So Dartmouth puts up 41 on Sacred Heart

a little surprised by this considering the not so convincing performance against doormat Valparaiso

Delaware didn’t put up anything close to that in the spring playoff game

Princeton is top 20 easy, too bad hardly anyone will believe it

Short version is that we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot against SHU the way we did against Valpo. We had one fumble against SHU instead of five against Valpo. We had no bad snaps against SHU instead of several against Valpo.

Also credit good play-calling for Dartmouth. SHU's defense spent most of the time on their heels and they looked like they had no idea what was coming next.

As for offense, SHU isn't the same team without Chestnut. But Dartmouth wasn't giving the ball to SHU deep in our own territory either the way we did with Valpo.

Dartmouth was (unfortunately from my point of view) dominant against Penn on Friday night, beating the Quakers in Philadelphia 31-7. Outside of their touchdown drive early in the game, Penn did little on offense (141 total yards for the game). Meanwhile, the Big Green moved the ball up and down the field in the 1st half before taking their foot off the gas in the 2nd half.

Good start to the Ivy League season for Dartmouth. Penn will need to regroup after back-to-back losses.

very solid team
so they have 2 QBs. One for run another for pass?

#22 looks good too, he has speed

Dartmouth's been doing the two-QB thing for a few years now. We've had success with it. It helps a lot that the "pass first" guy *can* run and the "run first" guy *can* pass. :)

What was very nice about Bair's performance yesterday was that he sustained a bad knee injury in 2019 at Franklin Field that ended his season. The cancelled 2020 season helped him get back to top form and he's playing with a vengeance this season. A great story!

Only downside about last night is that our best defender was ejected (correctly) for targeting. Barring an appeal (and I'm not holding my breath), he will have to sit out the first half against Yale next weekend.

You guys are certainly better at the two QB thing than Yale. All it did for us so far is stop any momentum.

My senior year, Brown had a historically bad defense. Every week, the Ivy offensive player of the week was the guy who played against Brown. :)

Yeah, that’s the truth.

And as poor as Lehigh’s defense is, their offense is worse. They haven’t scored a touchdown in their first five games (9 points total for the year).

If the best team in the PL is run out of Fitton by the supposed 4th best team in the IL, the Patriot has some real problems. Is this the worst the PL has been?

A PL team beat an FBS team.
