Dynamic duo: Lewis, Williams content to give UNI 1-2 punch

In Mark Farley's most successful seasons as Northern Iowa's football coach, the program has relied on a dynamic duo in its backfield.
Adam Benge and Richard Carter anchored a running game in 2001 that racked up 2,679 yards and resulted in a trip to the NCAA Division I-AA semifinals.
Carter and Terrance Freeney spearheaded the school's best single-season rushing attack in 2003 with 2,764 yards and a spot in the I-AA quarterfinals.
In 2005, Freeney and David Horne compiled 2,456 yards and helped the Panthers reach the I-AA national championship game.
Well, another odd-numbered year is here, and the Panthers have another formidable tandem in Corey Lewis and Darian Williams. ...

UNI with Sanders at the Qb posiition as well,UNI is going to be a dam scary team. Jordan Lacy is a solid player.

The whole defensive line will be solid. LBs and DBs will have come the furthest since last year.

This gentlemen here will be a monster...

Mark Huygens has been a pre-season All-American in almost every source and there is a chance that he doesn't start...

That would be weird. There's a reason he's a preseason AA.

He was on Rima today. Definitely got the impression he is still the guy.
