Ok, but really, watching the game we played absolutely frigging awful and I still truly believe we miss the playoffs this year.

Florida State is just that bad.

I have no idea how they kept up with Notre Dame.

It was FSU dude. Nobody plays perfect. I watched maybe a quarter. They did what they needed to do.

Right and on one hand I'm in shock we beat FSU and over the moon but on the other it reenforced what I think of this team. Sloppy as all get out.

We had 13 penalties for 111 yards.

Truthfully if we play well, we would have buried FSU. We squandered at least 10 points over the course of the game.

We just don’t have that next level mentality. We rely on d2 plays with All-American players. Our coaches are d2 leftovers who can’t think beyond that. How do I know? Look at what coach Campbell did with his FBS plays for us in only 2 years he was here. We have Sam Houston in two weeks but it will be practice for them. We just don’t have that early game ANYTHING and haven’t for YEARS.

Texas needs transfers on the offensive line and bad. They were blown out by the Razorbacks tonight. I turned the game off when it was 13-0. I thought my home state Longhorns would win by at least two scores. It will be a long season in Austin. The offensive line is terrible.

Seriously though congrats on the win. It was a hard game to watch as both teams had a ton of penalties.

The touchdown Western Illinois got was from a pick 6 from their really good defensive back. I think he had another one in the game later.

That was an ugly loss. As a Texas fan that was hard to watch. It will take at least two or three recruiting cycles to get that offensive line fixed. There’s plenty of work to do. As least Sam Houston won.
