The Mountain Hawks finished their first week of practice with a scrimmage Saturday, but about 20 players were held out due to various injuries. However, it didn't sound as if the 'dings' were overly serious that would jeopardize playing time in the regular season. Below is the initial summary, however full article appears at www.lehighsports.edu
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh wrapped up its first week of practice on Saturday afternoon as the Mountain Hawks held a scrimmage on the John C. Whitehead practice fields on the Goodman Campus. Second year head coach Andy Coen commented on how the first week of preseason camp has gone afterwards. “The effort has been good throughout and the kids have been working hard, but I am not pleased with the amount of injuries we’ve had,” Coen said. “Due to the injuries, a lot of other guys have gotten many reps, but they start to wear down after awhile.”
