CHICAGO, ILL. -- Coming of a 15 carry, 136-yard, three touchdown performance in Saturday's season opener, Hampton freshman running back Elijah Burris was named on Monday afternoon as the Stats Perform FCS National Freshman of the Week. He's the first Hampton honoree in at least the last five years.
