Schulz earned All-Metro East Bay honorable mention as selected by the San Francisco Chronicle. Also a sprinter in track, Schulz earned a scholarship from the East Bay Football Officials Association and was selected to play in the East-West Charity All-Star Football Classic, which was played July 14 at Napa Memorial Stadium.
