I think Nicholls looked respectable against Memphis.

Poor record but I don't think the results were as poor as it looks. UIW blew chances to beat an MVFC team on the road — result is bad but they're a team to be reckoned with. HBU only gave up 24 points to an FBS team and lost by 10 — respectable result, especially after being decimated by the transfer portal. McNeese played toe-to-toe with the defending D-2 national champion and current No. 1 team in D-2 — the best team in D-2 can usually play with and beat most FCS teams, even good ones. NW was respectable for a while vs the Mean Green and Nicholls hung in there for a while against a good Memphis team. We beat a pretty good and improved North Alabama team by three touchdowns on the road after a major hurricane wreaked havoc on our area. Our league is better than people think.
