RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond was well represented in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League this summer as the Spiders swept the league's Most Valuable Player and Pitcher of the Year awards. It's the first time in ACBL history that two from the same school swept the league's MVP, and POY awards. Returner Chase Conklin (Mullica Hill, N.J.) was the league's Santy Gallone Most Valuable Player as he led the Trenton Generals to a League Championship. Incoming graduate transfer Winston Allen was the Darrin Winston Pitcher of the Year after a phenomenal summer with the Jersey Pilots.
