PHILADELPHIA – The Division of Recreation and Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Pennsylvania and the Penn Champions Club achieved another historic fundraising year during the 2020-21 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020 and concluding June 30, 2021, the final year of the Game Onward Campaign. During that time, the Penn Champions Club raised $61.3 million in commitments towards Penn Athletics' highest priorities including annual fund support, endowment commitments, and capital projects. This marks the second time in Penn Athletics' history and in the Game Onward Campaign that commitments for Penn Athletics exceeded $60 million. The last time was during FY19 when the Penn Champions Club raised over $64 million in commitments. Total cash-in for the Division finished at $21.6M in FY21, marking the third highest year ever and fourth time in Penn Athletics history that cash-in receipts exceeded $20M, all achieved during the Game Onward Campaign.
