I don't follow golf (booooring), but yeah, it certainly is old seeing Tiger win again and again.

I like Tiger, but the best thing for golf might be if he blew a tournament.

Of course, part of the problem is, nobody ever even starts to make a charge against him.

At this point his version of "blowing" a major is not coming from behind to win one. That, I would like to see happen. xnodx

Well, he hasn't won "all the time" this year. 3 different guys won the other majors.

I do not find it boring...I am not a golfer. I'm lucky if I play twice a year. But I thoroughly enjoy watching someone operate at a level that very few ever reach. Today's match was interesting as Ernie and Woody pulled within one stroke with 5 holes to play. Tiger's focus thereafter was amazing. People like Woods come along every few decades--and I feel like when I'm watching him play that I'm watching history, for he certainly is on a pace wherein he will be acknowledged as the greatest golfer, ever. So feel privileged to be able to watch all of this. To be able to watch a truly great athlete from beginning of career to end is cool. I was able to do that with Mike Schmidt of the Phillies, living outside of Philadelphia. The same could be said for those who were able to follow the full careers of people like Ruth,Ripken, Gwynn,Gehrig,Mays, Aaron, Sampras, Federer, Borg, Bird, Erving, Chamberlain, Russell,West,Gretsky,Hull, Howe,Spitz, Evans,Lougainis,Joyner, Hayes,Armstrong,Brown,Unitas,Graham,Starr, etc, etc...All of these people were at the pinnacle of their respective sports--Yet, I find it hard to think of anyone who dominated his or her sport so completely ....and for so long as Woods has and will, barring an accident/injury. I have never found excellence boring.

The only thing boring is that other individual pros cannot step up to the plate and be competitive with him on a consistent basis.

Good for Tiger! 13 majors and counting. I just wish the Phillies had him in their bullpen: he never blows a lead!xnodx

Congrats Tiger, great to see athletic greatness without rumors of cheating hanging over his head, aka Balco Barry.

Well said. Excellence in any endeavor is a privilege to watch. Appreciate, don't hatexlolx I don't for the life of me understand why people bitch about his superiority. He's just that freakin good, but he also was human during the year's first 3 majors and others stepped up and won. So what the @#$% is the problem? xrolleyesx xlolx

Call it what you will.... xeyebrowx xeyebrowx xeyebrowx xeyebrowx xeyebrowx

He's not the greatest until he PASSES the greatest. Using that logic, we should already be saying A-Rod is the greatest baseball player ever, since he was the youngest to 500 HR's.

Hell, even Ryan Howard is the greatest, since he got to 100 HR's faster than anyone else. xreadx xreadx xreadx

xcoffeex xcoffeex xcoffeex xcoffeex

IF he passes Jack, I'll be the first to admit it. But only IF that happens. And there's still plenty of doubt in my mind. xnodx xnodx xnodx xnodx

Unless Tiger go down in a plane crash, not only is he going to pass Jack's record, he's going to shatter it, grind it into dust, and then pour cement over it.xlolx

If he wishes, TIGER has 20 years of PGA Level Golf left in him.
He's what..........31 or 32 years old?xnodx

Besides.
Who on tour has even remotely proved they can even hang with him, FORGET BEATING HIM , on a regular basis.

Remember all that talk back in 2004 that Tiger was done?? xcoolx He was never going to win another major, he lacked the focus and drive. xrolleyesx

Remember all that talk back in 2007 that Tiger was done?? xcoolx He was never going to win another major, he just had a child and there was no way he could devote time to fatherhood and golf (and his hot wife) xrolleyesx

I'll answer that for you ....................... Never.

Now YOU are obsessed with bonds.
You don't have to meet Bonds to be that as you prove everyday. xlolx

You worse than a person that bring's up O.J's outdated arse 12 years after. xlolx
