High School: Ran for nearly 6,000 yards and 42 touchdowns during prep career ... had well over 1,000 rushing yards before suffering season-ending injury in eighth game of senior season ... had nearly 1,700 all-purpose yards as a freshman in 2002, Cedar Ridge’s first year ... ranked as one of North Carolina’s top prep running backs by Scout.com.
