RICHMOND, Va. – At its annual meeting last week, the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) elected the University of Richmond's Matt McCollester as its new president. Following a unanimous vote, McCollester will serve as the organization's president for the next two years. VaSID exists to promote the accomplishments of the student-athletes of all Virginia institutions while supporting the state's sports information professionals. McCollester will begin his fourth year at the University of Richmond as the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications in 2021-22.
