JMU is a great place for a game, makes sense to make it 20K or more.

talks are of upping it to at least 25k, possibly 30k, this round of upgrades...but are they are is talks for now...hopefully come Sept. 1st we'll hear an announcement of actual starting dates. We've been hearing for years about expanding Bridgeforth.

With the current stadium design, it should be a fairly simple build. I would expect something like their doing to Hagood at El Cid where they take down one side at a time and move it closer to the field. H'burg is a great place to see a game and I don't see any reason why they can't compete with the Hens for attendance figures. xnodx

Well the reason right now is the Equity in Athletics fiasco. We probably have to get that sorted out before we can make any type of move with football. But yes, we'd tear down the Godwin side, move in and build it bigger, horseshoe in the endzone across from the APC, and then go from there adding luxury boxes and that type of thing. How long it will take for that to happen is still up in the air.
