With all the "turmoil" on other topics I thought some updates would be good.
Day 1
THE FIRST OF MANY
Bobcat coach Rob Ash has insisted throughout the summer that competition exists at every position entering fall camp. He reiterated that Monday. "I like that feeling," he said. "In fact, I hope we have that feeling every year."

Day 2
Rob Ash was pleased with what he saw on day two of MSU's fall football camp
The pleasantries are dispatched, the how-do-you-dos in the rear view mirror. Tuesday, Rob Ash and his staff got down to the nuts and bolts of running a fall camp.
What MSU's first-year head coach saw during his second practice with the team, he liked. "Today was a lot better in a lot of respects," Ash said. "The tempo was better today, partly because they know where to go, what to do. We were late getting our reps in yesterday, today we were on time, which means we were getting plays off in a better tempo."
