Not a good sign coming out of the first week of practice. Sothern, a DE hasn't recovered from his injury from last year, so he is done. Butler goes down and he could miss the whole season and Marcorelle, who missed 9 games last year due to an injury, breaks a bone in his wrist and will try to play through it. This team was loaded with injuries in 2005 & 2006. What is going on in Newark, MR. CHICKEN?

Four University of Delaware football players will have season-ending surgery in the next week, coach K.C. Keeler said after practice today.

Junior cornerback Durrell Clark-James (wrist), sophomore running back Jerry Butler (knee), red-shirt freshman defensive lineman Scott Von Duyke (shoulder) and true freshman linebacker Eddie Lugo (shoulder) won't return to action until next spring, Keeler added.
