FRISCO, Texas – Four-time first team All-American, Southland Conference and Louisiana Defensive Player of the Year, Louisiana Newcomer of the Year, and first team All-SLC and All-Louisiana defensive end Isaiah Chambers has been named the 2020-21 Southland Conference Student-Athlete of the Year, the league office announced on Tuesday in conjunction with the releasing of its all-academic football team. The Student-Athlete of the Year award is presented by GEICO.
