Aggies living with difficult schedules
Salt Lake Tribune - United States
Some college football teams buy victories.
Not Utah State.
The Aggies are only 4-19 over the last two seasons, partly because they play a rugged nonconference schedule that does not include home games against smaller schools. ...

A difficult schedule with UNLV, Wyoming and the WAC conference? If they call that difficult (and to bring it into more relevance on this thread), they should move down to the Big Sky. It would make sense (and then they could call that "difficult").

This year, the other eight Western Athletic Conference schools have at least one game at home against smaller schools. Hawaii plays Northern Colorado and Charleston Southern; New Mexico State plays Southeast Louisiana and Arkansas-Pine Bluff; Nevada plays Nicholls State; Louisiana Tech opens with Central Arkansas; Fresno plays Sacramento State; Boise State opens against Weber State; and Idaho hosts Cal Poly.
I believe the FCS connection is that other WAC schools "buy" victories against FCS schools. xrolleyesx
Boy,xrolleyesx La Tech's 31-21 win last year over Nicholls sure was a "bought" win.
