Hampton, Va. (May 15, 2021) --- Norfolk State scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to defeat Delaware State 10-9 in the Hornets regular season finale at War Memorial Stadium today. NSU's Cody Donnell singled in Minjae Hong with the winning run off Hornet reliever Dylan Layton with none out in the ninth. The Spartans scored the first run of the inning on a wild pitch by Layton to tie the score at 9-9.
