Arlington, Va., – Richmond baseball battled with George Washington Friday night at Tucker Field, but the Spiders dropped a 6-5 contest as the Colonials got a base hit in the bottom of the ninth to drive in the game-winning run. The Spiders tied the game with a run in the top of the eighth, but couldn't keep George Washington off the board in the final inning. Richmond falls to 16-13 on the season, and 2-7 in Atlantic 10 play. George Washington improves to 23-13 and 12-5 in league play.
