RICHMOND, Va. – After falling in extra innings in game one of Saturday's doubleheader, Richmond baseball rallied behind a dominant performance from Colby Wyatt (Glendale, Ariz.) to split the twinbill. Davidson earned a 4-2 win in the first game of the day, while the Spiders took the nightcap 3-1. After using four pitchers in the first game, Wyatt settled the bullpen with a 7.0 inning, complete game, six strikeout victory. Richmond is now 16-7, and 2-1 in Atlantic 10 play. Davidson is now 21-20 and 5-10 in league play.
