The original schedule said there would be two games on Saturday, May 1 (both on ESPN3) and two on Sunday, May 2 (one each on ESPN and ESPN2).

According to the updated bracket on NCAA.com and the listing on espn.com, all four games are set for Sunday with three on regular cable (only on on ESPN3).

(all times Eastern)
3:00 p.m. North Dakota State at Sam Houston - ESPN
3:00 p.m. Delaware at Jacksonville State - ESPN3
6:00 p.m. North Dakota at James Madison - ESPN2
9:00 p.m. Southern Illinois at South Dakota Sate - ESPN2

Um, I think I would rather play at 2pm on Sunday than 6pm or 9pm.

If you're using 2:00 p.m. you should prefer it to 5:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. (all Central time). xdrunkyx

Why? It will cut down on the amount of pregame drinking time.

It's all about recovery time. A 2 o'clock game allows time for copious amounts of water Sunday evening and a good night's sleep before life gets in the way again?

Me too. I have been saying all spring that ESPN is missing out by not putting FCS (with the exception of the D. Sanders football team) on television. Football fans will watch football any time of year.

Part of the issue for Saturday could be the conflict with the Draft and about 6pm EDT has the Kentucky Derby

Doesn't explain the SWAC Championship Game (Arkansas-Pine Bluff vs. Alabama A&M, held at Jackson State) airing at 3:00 p.m. Saturday on ESPN2.

The original schedule had both Saturday games on ESPN3 only, so the switch to all games Sunday added one to the "nearly everybody with cable" lineup.

I'm pretty sure JSU/UD could've kicked off on Saturday if the host school wanted it to but since Jax St played most of their regular season games on Sunday this spring maybe they felt more comfortable playing that one on Sunday too since the rest of the quarters were also on Sunday???

Early lines for the games. One of these things is not like the others applies two different ways.

NDSU (-2.5) at SHSU
UD at JSU (-2.5)
UND at JMU (-2.5)
SIU at SDSU (-12.5)

Ugly TV ratings for the quarterfinals:

Yet another reason why any talk of the FCS moving to a spring season permanently is asinine.
