Not a great game by our offense but kind of what we've seen all season. They're young and hopefully get healthy and better by fall. Our OC needs to figure out how to put guys in better position to be successful when he doesn't have an NFL QB and oline. Even as bad as they played they were one play away from the semi's again.

I think SDSU is the best team in the country but it's not by all that much. You and JMU are probably pretty equal, so whoever matches up against SDSU I would favor the Jacks about 60/40. SDSU has a lot better offensive line than the one we put out today and a more capable true frosh QB than the one we have. Their defense is really solid too.

100% this...QB play is what has been the edge in the close games NDSU has won in the last decade. Don't have it this year. I would say that overall the FCS overall doesn't look all that good this year probably due to many things. However, Sam Houston is a very good team as well as NDSU is a good team. Sam Houston has a very good chance to win it all in my opinion. As a Bison fan, just glad I only have a few months until we get back to a normal fall season.

Slow on the uptake because we have experience with over-expectations. We have been disappointed way too many times. I voted them #1 after the Nicholls game.

SDSU will go on a 10 year win streak against the Bison. You'll never touch the marker again. Some of you old farts might not get to see them win it again in your lifetime. UND will take over the state. The Alerus Center will be heralded as the mecca of FCS Football in North Dakota. You'll be fighting to stay ahead of Missouri State and Indiana State in the standings. Did you forget about the 62-7 beatdown in Beaumont? It will be a similar beatdown in the fall in Huntsville, assuming there are no major injuries after the SFA game. We could have hung at least 80 on that Lamar team, if it weren't for four turnovers, and our defense also forced four turnovers. That Lamar offense was hot garbage all night. It was UGLY.

A lot of fans just see offense and don't appreciate good defense. A good defense can make offenses look bad. And when both teams have good defenses, you can an ugly game unless you are one of those fans that appreciate good defense.

Congrats SHSU Bearkats great game against the Bison. This is late because just got back from the lakes and we do not have internet or TV there...its our get away from all the hoopla spot...but it really sucks during FCS football season. I pray all our Freshman learned something this spring during their playing time and I hope our Coaches did too. Good Luck Bearkats in the next round against JMU!!
