JSU may get a stadium expansion

BOT approved moving forward with plans to add additional dorms which have been proposed to be part of the stadium.

Also adding a Doctorate of Education to the academic offer.

What JSU did to the "new" home stands looks really nice. I agree the "old" home stands (visitor side) is a little dated but isn't bad at all. One of my favorite things about the setup is that the stadium is set up on the visitor side so if you watch on TV it shows the impressive looking home side.

No, this is the expansion we had in 2010. The new renderings basically take out and redo the entire away sideline and replace the field house with outdoor club style seating.

I went to the site to browse for it because I was curious, I came across some posts from JSU fans asking where the render was and was pretty clear from another member that it was posted in the "members only" area and it was asked that the picture not be ripped and posted elsewhere xlolx. Just post the dang picture.

So not only are they using it to drive traffic to their site and forcing people to sign up but once they get in it is behind a paid area?

That looks really nice. Any idea on what the new capacity would be? If I remember right, currently your stadium holds ~24K and you average ~19K per game?

The interior renderings appear to have fewer seats along the north sideline with additional seating/suites/field level suite in the new fieldhouse

No. There is no paid area. It's just on the members board. AGS won't let you view any threads unless you are a member and logged in. Complaining is stupid and hypocritical.

The irony of someone complaining about having to register to see the image on a forum that requires registration to read threads is strong. Many forums won't display images to unregistered posters

It looks really nice! Another very nice step up for JSU.

If anyone was concerned about those images not being public info they probably should have never been posted on an online message board in the first place. Just my two xtwocentsx.
