RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond sophomore linebacker Tristan Wheeler (Bethlehem, Pa.) has been named one of 18 finalists for the Stats Perform FCS Buck Buchanan Award, which is presented to the national defensive player of the year in NCAA FCS Football. Wheeler is the first Spider associated with the Buck Buchanan award since Andrew Clyde was named to the Watch List in the 2018 preseason.
