FARMINGDALE, N.Y.—Columbia senior Arjun Puri fired a career-low 65 in Sunday's final round to finish this weekend's Doc Gimmler Intercollegiate in fifth place at two-under-par with a 70-73-65-208. The event, played at Bethpage State Park's Red Course, marked the first varsity competition for a Columbia athletics team in a little over a year and gave Columbia's three seniors—Puri, John Robertson, and Dan Terrell—a final opportunity to compete in a collegiate event.
