Two questions:

UND 4-1 and SDSU 5-1 MVFC - Co Champ- Head to Head UND 28 SDSU 17 - SDSU is in line for a 2 seed and homefield over UND should they meet.
JMU 5-0 and Delaware 5-0 - ADs vote for best team for autobid - its Delaware. JMU is in line for a 3 seed and homefield over Delaware should they meet.

I think Delaware will be rightly pissed if they're seeded below JMU or if JMU is seeded and Delaware isn't. As for UND I think they're suffering from out-of-sight out-of-mind syndrome in the polls since they haven't played a game in 29 days and haven't won a game in 36 days.

AGS projected at-large field:

1. JMU (3)
2. NDSU (6)
3. UND (7)
4. EWU (8)
5. Missouri St (10)
6. SIU (13)

First out:
UC Davis (14)
Villanova (15)
Richmond (16)
Southeastern Louisiana (17)

The AGS consensus puts 5 MVFC teams into the field... seems unlikely that committee politics will let that happen.

No STATS poll released yet and the selection show is about to start. No coach's poll either but usually that doesn't get released until the Monday after Selection Sunday.

Now you know how they pick the at-large teamsYear in and year out, we are the best at predicting At-Large teams. Wouldn't shock me if it ever slipped that the committee uses AGS as a reference tool. I am not saying they do, but if if they did, they would be clearly know how bad media polls are compared to those who watch the games and discuss the games.

I think the correlation is the committee also watches and discusses games challenging each other's positions instead of voting independently taking very little or no feedback from others. Not all AGS voters do that but enough do to make it a noticeable difference from the STATS Poll where a very small percentage does it seems or the Coaches Poll where nobody does.

That said it is still a fan poll so I doubt it'll ever carry much weight with the committee members but it's a good point of bragging rights for us. :)

I'll put together a comparison later this week between the two main polls and the AGS Poll but judging from the STATS Poll (https://theanalyst.com/na/sport/american-football/fcs/) just released this morning we were closer on the seeds and projected all 6 at-large teams correctly whereas STATS had UC Davis in the last spot rather than SIU.

If they ever mentioned they used AGS, it would be an embarassment to the media. People would ask how their rankings could be taken seriously (both media and selection committee), but at least we do our due dilengence and stand behind our beliefs or get called out on quickly. I would not be shocked if any of the ADs looked at it though for reference purposes. When things become so insular that you can't see beyond your tinted glasses, you'll get called out real quick.

(I won't go into it, but it's one reason why STATS blocked me on Twitter. I called them out for their inability to see beyond their biasedness and failure to show your work and that was fine by me).
