The William & Mary men's track & field team only competed in four events Friday at the UVA Challenge in Charlottesville, but came away with two top-four finishes and a pair of lifetime-bests in those four. The best finish of the day belonged to redshirt-freshman Jared O'Riley (Woodstock, Ontario, Canada), who took third in the javelin with a lifetime-best throw of 65.18m (213-10). That improved O'Riley to seventh all-time among Tribe athletes, and extended his lead in the Colonial Athletic Association this spring.
