Michael Vick: NFL "Sacks" Sales of His Jersey
I wandered on to NFLShop.com to do my daily check on everything Michael Vick and I noticed something strange. I couldn't find Michael Vick No. 7 jerseys anywhere.
So I called the NFL and asked them why they had made this decision. "We have suspended sales of Vick-related merchandise on our official league e-commerce site, NFLShop.com," said NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy. "This includes Vick jerseys and collectible items such as autographed balls and other memorabilia."

Doesn't really seem that the NFL is giving Vick a chance to prove his innocence......xrolleyesx
I wonder why......

Again, I think he should have his day in court...but that indictment, in my opinion, is HIGHLY DAMNING. The new charges aren't helping his cause either (will be announced in a month).
Either way, Vick's Atlanta career is OVER...and whatever happens...if he does come back to the NFL...he will come at a much reduced income...WITH ZERO ENDORSEMENTS.
He is going to spend millions....and most likely will merely have the proverbial pot to piss in.
All because he alledgedly was fighting dogs...just plain silly on his part if he did this.

And IF he is found innocent like he say he is, HOW MANY MOFO'S GONNA MAKE EXCUSES AS TO WHY THIS WAS NOT GUILTY until INNOCENT. xlolx

This is not the justice system and it has nothing to do with the justice system. This is a business and it has the right to treat Michael Vick whatever way it deems appropriately. Guilty until proven innocence has no meaning here.

Man............This is the NFL knuckling under to groups like PETA and other protesters. xnodx
They have this right but they ought to stand up and call it what it is.
Knuckling under.
If Vick is guilty, then they can still "Jerk the rug out from under him" at any time.xnodx
All the mofo's in the NFL PLAYING right now that have a GUILTY RECORD and this is the END ALL?

jstate - it may be unfair but you have to remember that the NFL is a business. If things stay status quo and the NFL lets Vick continue to play, it risks sponsors backing out and people boycotting. This could lead to the NFL not making as much money as it would otherwise make by a lot.
Because it is a business, it is just doing what is best for its product right now. That is why Nike and others who do business with Vick are doing the same thing.
It may be unfortunate, but that is business.

Hopefully Vick gets "Sacked" from the NFL in general and they throw him out.
I would totally die of laughter if D.J. Shockley or Joey Harrington led the Falcons to the post-season.

Then prepare to live a long life. xlolx
Those 2 couldn't lead a team onto the field from the locker room. xlolx
BTW: Could have sworn VICK has already led the Falcons to the post season 3 times.
The latest was 2005 when they beat MY RAMS 47-14.
They lost the next week to the Eagles 27-10.

At a minimum, he's guilty of being a dumbass...with as much as the media has been all over him...all this crap (and yes I read the 18 page indictment) happened on the Virginia property that VICK purchased

One could argue that the NFL would by hypocritical to make money by selling jerseys and other stuff with his name on it while not letting him come to training camp and make money for himself.

Guilty or innocent, the NFL should not be trying to make money on somebody who's name is in question.
But then again, there are some that don't even believe that Vick's name is in question at all.xrolleyesx
And pigs fly out of my ***.
