The University at Albany softball team completed the four-game weekend sweep of Delaware State this afternoon, taking both games in Sunday's doubleheader. Wendi Hammond pitched a gem in game one, not allowing any earned runs and giving up only two hits. Madison Petrella hit a grand slam in game one, with Maranda Jimenez sending two out of the park in game two. In total, the Great Danes put up 28 runs today and 46 throughout the weekend.
