If SE Louisiana wins against Nicholls and then beats SIU I think they have a shot at making the playoffs especially with the MEAC no longer having a bid. It’s a tall order and they would need SHSU to beat Incarnate Word because I don’t see the Southland getting 3 teams in but it’s possible.

I don’t really see anyway SIU gets in with a win but this is a great matchup and I’m glad they scheduled it. Hopefully this might cause some other games to be scheduled.

This is the sort of OOC we all want more of but I agree with the poster above about SIU being left out even if they win. I imagine the only reason SIU wants the game is to avoid the financial hit from having to refund tickets and advertising. The smart move if we could afford it would be to heal up and get ready for the fall

Yeah. The game against WIU that got cancelled was a home game for the Salukis. WIU tickets are being honored for this game.
