My vote goes to Montana. I really think the Griz are ready to make a run at the FCS.

It could go to any of em', but like I have posted before...Montana has revenge on their mind from last seasons hearbreaking loss. Montana wins over App. State in final game (app. state qb is outstanding!!!!!!!!)

I'm sorry, but using Savannah State in this context is a violation of the AGS TOS. This will result in a strike against you and may result in suspended posting priveledges if this kind of irresponsible internet posting continues. xcoolx xcoolx xcoolx xcoolx xcoolx

I'll say App State gets its third straight for 5 simple reasons.
1. Solid QB/RB combination return.
2. 4 out of 5 offensive lineman return.
3. Solid Defensive Secondary returning.
4. Even though the Defensive Line will be gaining experience as the season progresses, i.e. they will give up some rushing yards this season, I think ASU will run right back over anybody they play and win that war every time.
5. The Rock.
I think Montana, UNH, UMass, Youngstown, and UNI will all have good shots at knocking off ASU as the champ.

I go Montana, just cuz they were short last year and they are going to be even better this year, barring any major injuries of course. But UMont or Appy again.

UMass or AppySt.
Umass is going into the season ranked 8 after finishing runner-up for a reason. They lost Baylark, so they lose. end of story.

Realistically, App (of course), Montana, UNI, YSU, UNH, UMass as already mentioned and to throw in a wild card.....Deleware....why not? The CAA will be a great conference this year.
Basically, whoever wins the Big Sky, Gateway, CAA and SoCon are title contenders immediately.

1) If App gains home field advantage again throughout playoffs (including Chattanooga) - ASU
2) If not, then Montana
3) If not Montana or ASU, then N. Iowa, who would have home field advantage

I like this scenario. But if it is a Montana/App. St. Championship, you will surprisingly not have a huge home field advantage. Championship game is when Griz Nation really shines. Thousands upon thousands flock out there. Woohoo, I am excited.xrotatehx xrotatehx

I understand that Griz Nation shines better than most at a Championship game, but App has an undeniable advantage of convenience. AppState has shown up in droves to the Championship. I have to admit it would be a huge turnout. It would be an amazing game setting all records in attendance. It about happened last year.

Oh, you just had to bring that up didn't you. Yes, WE BLEW IT LAST YEAR, WE KNOW. Luckily for us, we have the championship in our eyes this year!!
