CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia outlasted William & Mary in a 12-inning marathon taking a 7-6 win over the Tribe Tuesday night in Charlottesville. The Green and Gold erased a 4-0 deficit to eventually take a 6-4 lead on Matt McDermott's two-out ninth inning homer but could not hold on as UVA tied the game in the bottom of the frame and won in the 12th.
