I don't really get the love for Richmond in the consensus??? They haven't shown me a lot this spring and it's not like their 5-7 campaign in 2019 is earning them any benefit of the doubt.

Quite possibly, it's all a guessing game this spring with teams from different conferences. If Kennesaw beats Monmouth this week they'll be in the playoffs so we can see how they stack up with teams outside of their conference. If not, they'll have a hard time even cracking the at-large conversation IMO.

I was curious about the discrepancy between Jacksonville State and Austin Peay (and Murray State) in your poll (actually, not just yours), especially since the Governors just beat the Gamecocks only 8 days ago.

I think you've got them about right at 22. They are 3-0, but 2 of the wins are vs. hapless Elon. The other one is at home vs William and Mary. They may be a very good team, but they haven't played any teams that justify being much higher.

ETSU should be ranked higher than VMI. 4-1 vs 5-1 playing in the same conference, with the head to head to ETSU. Ranking VMI higher is simply over thinking the issue. If ETSU was to lose another game and VMI does not, than you have a justification.

Having watched each and seeing the results and closely monitoring the H2H, that is not necessarily true. My opinion only.

It's hard in any event, polls, because of the various levels of commitment of each and every team. Some are not buying into the spring, some are going flat out, and everywhere in between. Yes we have the results to look at, and common opponents, but how they look is also important as well. VMI just looks better in general. I'm sure it will clear up in the next couple weeks.

Was planning on having Davidson in my top 25, but when it came time to do my poll I had completely forgotten about them when finding a team I felt comfortable rounding out the poll with. Will rectify that next week.
