On a windy day at North Dakota State Spring Classic, Destinee Rose-Haas set the school record in the discus throw on her final throw of the day with a mark of 55.39m (181-8.75). Coming into the day Rose-Haas trailed only three-time All-American Molli Detloff in the event on the UND chart. The mark puts Rose-Haas in excellent shape to qualify for the NCAA West Preliminary Round at the end of May in College Station, Texas.
