Though I'm not a big fan of Huggins, this is got to be a bone-headed decision by the Cincy administration xidiotx

Now, if he taught at LSU, may as well shut down the university and just play basketball. What's the point of having academics? How many kids has Hugs graduated?

Unfortunately, at too many D-I schools, graduation rates seldom seem to be relevant when the BBall coach is up for review! It's generally used as an excuse to remove someone.

He coached in an NCAA regional in Orlando a few years back and the language he used at his players was deplorable, especially when there were young children present w/in 30' of him. Several parents shouted at him to not curse so bad but he just gave back dirty looks. What a sphincter...

The university sent Huggins an ultimatum Tuesday, ordering him to resign as coach or be fired at 2 p.m. on Wednesday (8/24/05). Huggins was out of town when the ultimatum was faxed to his lawyer, giving him a 24-hour window to choose his exit.

Huggins is a doosey. I watched him in Salt Lake and man that guy is bursting from the first tip to the end of the game. I though his head would explode and the language..WOW. He and Jon Cheney were a pair to watch.

My hat off to Cincinnati's administration. He was a bad example and the program was a revolving door, for the most part.
