The James Madison men's golf team had shaved 11 shots off its opening nine holes on Saturday evening before inclement weather forced the suspension of the first round of the Tar Heel Intercollegiate, hosted by North Carolina at the par-72, 7,242-yard UNC Finley Golf Course.
