DENTON, TEXAS -- The Richmond Spiders men's basketball season ended in heartbreaking fashion Thursday night in the quarterfinals of the National Invitation Tournament as Mississippi State's D.J. Stewart hit a three-pointer with 2.0 seconds remaining to give the Bulldogs a 68-67 win over the Spiders.
