That Pitcher from the Florida Marlins, Olsen or something. A disgrace to his race and to the game of baseball.

Ya what are you talking about? Are you trying to imply that the media is tougher on black athletes who get in trouble? Just watch how hard the media comes down on the NBA ref involved with the point shaving scandal. Now of course Vick will probably get more coverage but that is because Vick is slightly more fanmous than this ref.

The media is no tougher than society. Society treats people different because of many different reasons, with that said its not that hard to stay your arse out of trouble.

No, I'm pointing out how few white pro athletes actually get into big time trouble. That's all.xpeacex

Scott Olsen has real anger management issues, but I don't see what race has to do with it. He's just an immature idiot.

We can only hope that more than the media comes down on that referee, and hard.

It just seems that there are so many black athletes getting into big trouble. That's all. So, it's interesting (suprising?) to see a white athletes in such a pickle. Am I wrong about this?? Sorry if I am.

The majority of crimes committed by pro athletes are committed by black athletes. But, the NFL and NBA are heavily black, so even without considering other factors it makes sense. Crime rates in the general population are much higher among blacks and so it seems that carries over into pro athletes, despite their wealth.
