Thought I'd cut and paste it here, because it was posted a while ago in their blog and has been pushed down the page a bit....I respect their effort, but I think Brad Bagdis of Harvard belong on that team.

Ol' DD has done his homework. I'd think about putting the Columbia sophomore on there LB Andy Shalbrack as well as Bagdis, but other than that it really looks solid.

I would watch for Steven Santoro from Yale to make that list this year as well - I think he is a Jr.

LFN, I know that Shallbrack had some good numbers last year but having seen him play several times in high school, he is the corner every team should pick on...

Looks like a fine, balanced list. Luft is the real deal at WR, and people are already talking about Berry as an All-American candidate at DB.

Luft is a kid I saw play once, but I really liked him a lot -- Kind of reminded me of B.J. Syzmanski who played at Princeton in 2004, but left when he signed a huge baseball contract. Not sure Luft has Syzmanski's speed, but he's definitely one to watch.

A list that we can live with. I was a little surprised however that Columbia's Hormann is given the nod at QB over whatever is going on at Harvard where they supposedly have 3 good ones.

Looking at this again - no love for Yale QB Matt Polhemus either. I know he's not the focal point of that offense, but I'd think he'd be better than Hormann... my 2c. O'Hagan on Harvard is good too, but awfully inconsistent. Foran on Princeton is supposed to be a good one too, but mostly unproven.

Right, Santoro is a rising Junior. He's a gamer.

My overlooked candidate for All Ivy is Yale junior Kyle Hawari, a 6'5", 260+ pound DE. Colorado wanted him badly, and several other FBS schools offered him a free ride. He went to New Haven.

Are you saying he's "soft"? How about 55 tackles? How about starting as a frosh and forcing a fumble in his first collegiate game which took not only the ball but the ballcarrier's helmet along with it? How about the most picks in the Ivies? All as a freshman? Fuhgedaboutit.

I saw this kid play in high school as well and he is sound fundamentally, he is smart and he's got game. If Player19's comment was credible, having seen Andy Shalbrack play in high school, he would have known the potential of this kid. Shalbrack will do fine at Columbia and is deserving of whatever props and accolades that may come his way in the future. He's bigger, and faster and has a year of collegiate experience beneath him. Don't talk smack about him.
