MIDLOTHIAN, Va. -- The Richmond Spiders women's golf team defeated William & Mary in a 36-hole match Sunday at Independence Golf Club, improving to 2-0 in a pair of matches vs the Tribe this spring. The Spiders combined to shoot a 14-over 302 in the first round on Sunday morning, giving them a 16-shot advantage heading into the second and final round. Both Richmond and William & Mary posted identical team scores of 307 (+19) on Sunday afternoon, giving the Spiders a comfortable 609-625 victory.
