Austin Peay got the tying run to the plate in the seventh inning in of their Ohio Valley Conference opener versus Eastern Illinois, Saturday at Williams Field, but could not come up with a final big hit, as the Govs dropped a doubleheader to EIU by 4-2 and 8-0 finals.
