SDSU has a TD called back on a holding call on their opening drive and then gets a FG blocked. SIU takes over and drives to the 1 yard line before losing a fumble on a bad snap. Scoreless with 2 minutes left in 1st.

Edit: spoke too soon, SIU keeps the ball and settles for a FG. 3-0 Salukis 1:52 in the first

This is pretty much it. We just finally picked up our first 3rd down conversion in the early 4th quarter. A total of 36 rushing yards and fewer than 100 passing yards up until just the last minute or so. We have a mediocre O-Line and absolutely no ground game. It's easy to defend against a team that only passes the ball.

Our defense isn't bad, although they've been burned by a couple of big plays, but ISU has over double WIU's time of possession, so they're being asked to be on the field A LOT.

WIU finally drove down and got a TD with a bunch of passing plays, spreading things out, quick tempo, but we're still down by 13.
