Christmas is still less than six months away, but Austin Peay's football program got an early present last Friday when it found out its home Ohio Valley Conference game with Jacksonville State would be moved and televised nationally on ESPNU on Oct. 11, a Thursday. And it's especially exciting because the Govs are moving back into the OVC this season, two seasons after reinstating scholarship football.

Nice to see our former PFL foe gaining momentum. Hopefully, when the Gov's hit the big time they will remember their old PFL friends and play some home and home series with the PFL! ( I always enjoyed the Dayton / Austin Peay games ).
