Great showcase for the HBCU's which means the SWAC/CIAA/MEAC/SIAC best seniors along with the 3 HBCU's that play outside HBCU conferences like A&T, Hampton & Tennessee State get to play on national television in a post season all star game in front of scouts.

This is a great move. I just hope it doesn't get disregard because it does not included other all-stars from the respective divisions.

I think it'll get a decent amount of attention. It'll be the only football going on after the Super Bowl, plus real football fans know that HBCUs send a lot of talent to the NFL. They just gotta promote it as being able to see potentially the next Jerry Rice, Walter Payton, Michael Strahan, or Shannon Sharpe. Might even be able to get some of those guys to do promos for it (not Sweetness, obviously...but the others...and other former HBCU stars).

Outside of a collegiate all-star game where a WIU player is playing (unlikely to happen in the near future), I'm probably more likely to watch a HBCU all-star game than any of the others.

Will they have some of the bands there? I myself find these college all star games boring but I would watch some for that.

I hadn't thought of that...that'd be really cool if they did.

We're actually trying to find that out right now
