This season I would not predict any game a win or loss. I thought the shortened season and teams opting out as an easier path to Frisco. I now see this season will be the most difficult. I guess "Don't take anyone for granted." is no longer a trite saying.

McNeese @ Northwestern St Not going to pick McNeese again this season. Too many holes and we are going to play a lot of young guys.

Southeastern La. @ Incarnate Word - This game will be like SHSU game. Whichever defense can get the key stop will be the team that will win. UIW offense is pretty potent so I will take UIW at home.

McNeese @ Northwestern St. -Like someone said earlier, I think NW St could be better than what some think. They gave Nicholls all they could handle. I will take Demons at home.

Sam Houston @ Lamar I agree this could be a trap game for the Kats after the total dismantling of Nicholls last week, but I think the defense continues to flex its muscle and the offense will load up and run the ball this week. I think this Kats team is just too fast and too deep for Lamar's young roster.

Southeastern La. @ Incarnate Word The Freshman QB for IW was unflappable against McNeese. If he plays the same then I see them winning this one.

McNeese @ Northwestern St. It's high end spring football practice for McNeese, nothing more. Coaches are getting a good read on the existing players.

Sam Houston @ Lamar - this one will get ugly.

UIW - I think their offense is too good and they are playing very athletically, if that makes sense.
NSU - I almost picked the Cowboys, as I haven't kept up with NSU, but you guys talked me into it.
SHSU - They are just on a roll. If they don't let up, I don't see any way of them losing this one.
